It was once established that we grew upright through root-feet from the ground. The veins of the earth ran through our bodies, and we learned to walk as plants walk towards the light of the sun. For some reason, we stopped doing that, and forgot our roots. Became drones. Hid in darkness. Wilted like plants who died of thirst.
